Indigo Batik Textiles: Inspo for how to style them in your home
These beautiful artisan made textiles are unique and special because of the story behind them. Batik is a centuries old handicraft and is currently at risk of dying because of modern technology and 'fast fashion' homewares.
Our mission is to help keep this amazing cultural tradition alive by supporting the artisans and bringing stunning pieces into our homes. By knowing who made your homewares, it gives more meaning to your home and makes a space feel more interesting.
These indigo dyed textiles are vibrant and bold and can really add something special to a space, creating a modern boho, eclectic, travel-inspired aesthetic.
One interior designer whom I admire is Amber Lewis from Amber Interiors and she's a big fan of these stunning artisan textiles. She nails it every time! The inspiration I'm sharing below is from some of her amazing interior design projects, where she has used indigo batik cushions and throws to add colour and boldness!

To get this modern boho, travel - inspired look for your home, shop our Hmong batik cushions here.
They are proudly hand crafted in New Zealand, using vintage textiles sourced directly from the Hmong artisans in Sapa, Northern Vietnam.
If this resonates with you, feel free to share on social media or directly with a friend who you know loves this style of interiors!
Have a great day.
